What are the advantages of a reproduction?
A reproduction creates an interface between art and interior design. It opens up limitless opportunities for creativity in the design of your own feel-good space. The size of a picture is one of the most important attributes when it comes to the spatial integration and impact of art. If you feel drawn to a work of art but it is not the right size, a reproduction offers you the opportunity to create a picture in any format in the appropriate size and number to suit your needs. The options here range up to a limited edition of 50 pieces and up to a canvas size of 200 x 200 cm. Reproductive art also differs from the original in terms of price in favour of the customer and makes searching for the right works easier.
How do I get my unique print?
Simply choose a motif, order it in the size you require and wait for delivery. After a test hanging, you are free to decide whether you want to purchase the selected work of art. Please feel free to call into my gallery to find the right piece.
What makes a reproduction unique?
Every reproductive work of art is signed and, on request, I will rework it with acrylic paints or other materials to transform it into something truly unique. I am happy to cater to individual requests and suggestions here.
What technical processes lie behind digitalisation and printing of the work?
The scanning process is carried out with a Hasselblad H6D 100c camera with 100 million pixels and a chip size of 53.4 mm x 40.0 mm. This allows files of about 50 MB or larger. Suitable for prints in a format of approx. 200×200 cm. LED surface luminaires are used for the lighting.
Printing is carried out with a UV direct printer from the company SwissQ, with direct printing on an artist’s canvas of 385g/sqm. The printer prints with tiny droplets at a print resolution of up to 1350 dpi. The ink is dried on the substrate material by LED curing immediately after the printing process.
